There are plenty of free parking places around the house, and a bus service runs every 15 minutes to the city centre and the railway station. The heart of the city centre is within walking distance (only 15 minutes).
Supermarket, post office, bank, bistros and restaurants, bakery, butcher, newstand, night shop can be found in the close vicinity.
Architecture of the House
The architecture and the furnishing in the B&B are an interesting mix of industrial and natural materials. The architecture fits in the neighbourhood of Stubbekwartier. A Beauté, like so many other houses around has been built in the early twenties (1923), just after the First World War. It was the German industrialist Stubbe who planned the neighbourhood. You can still see "De Nieuwe Molens", an industrial flour mill that has recently been renewed as a living project with luxury apartments on the banks of one of the many canals of Bruges.
A Beauté is a step-roofed house in the typical fashion of Bruges. The apartment we rent is on the second floor where your total privacy will be guaranteed. A Beauté being situated in a residential street with very few tourist accommodation will give you an excellent opportunity to see how locals live.
Description and Accommodation
The B&B apartment(s) of A Beauté divide(s) into different areas:
A living room with your own private kitchen (fully equiped with a dishwasher, an induction cooker, a fridge and a microwave) where you can cook your meals;
a separate bathroom on the second floor with jaccuzi, shower, private toilet and a washbasin;
a mezzanine bedroom on the third floor where tall people will enjoy the comfort of an oversized double King size bed.
The living room comprises a drawing room with leather furniture, a dining-table, television and video, hifi, a computer with internet access and WiFi access facilities for your own laptop.
A full breakfast buffet is included in the price and can be served either in your bedroom suite or downstairs in our living room.
